The 4-tetrahedrons with yellow pom-poms represent the phosphorus atoms.
The 2-prong, "modified" from 4-prong, connectors represent the bridging oxygen atoms ("modified" in this case means that two, adjacent prongs are removed, making the connector a bridging atom).
The 1-prong, "modified" from 2-prong, connectors represent the terminal oxygen atoms ("modified" in this case means that one prong is removed, making the connector a terminal atom).
4 tetrahedrons with your favorite colored pom-poms
6 "modified" 4-prong connectors
4 "modified" 2-prong connectors
Place one of the "modified" 4-prong connectors into the hole in three of the four vertices of one of the tetrahedrons. Now connect the remaining tetrahedrons to the first using the "modified" 4-prong connectors. Now use the remaining "modified" 4-prong connectors to make connections between the tetrahedrons.
Place one of the "modified" 2-prong connectors into the hole in the open vertices of the tetrahedrons.
